Karin Erickson is a freelance writer and editor from Sacramento, CA, where she writes for local businesses, newspapers and magazines. She leads generative creative writing workshops for adults and also works with Sacramento area youth in 916 Ink workshops to improve literacy and guide young writers along the journey to becoming published authors. Her short fiction, poetry and creative nonfiction have appeared in over two dozen literary publications including Tule Review, Sacramento Voices, The Walrus Literary Journal and Soul of the Narrator. Stevens is currently working on a novel set in both the Sierra Nevada foothills and the San Francisco Bay Area.
